I have one song off the Whole 9 Yards Comp from 100 years ago. It's called quest. hit me up if you want it and I'll email it to you-- agarci2978@aol.com |
is that Starving Artists comp?
any chance you could upload the whole thing?
i've got a few songs here and there but not the whole thing.
The Setback songs on there was hard as nails. _________________ www.rucktion.com |

Hey Lou, it was actually the 3 song 7 inch...but hmmm, now that I'm recalling, i think I do have another whole 9 comp that may be starving artist but as a cd that might be the starving artists comp...it has setback, putdown, pitfall ( i think), when I get home tonight, I'm gonna check. In the meantime, if you want these 3 songs, hit me up with an email.
I tried doing that whole upload thing, but I ain't too computer savvy, and it sucks cause I have so much rare stuff that I would love to contribute. Weird shit, like for example: Warzone Live In Mexico City Cassette that was a release done in Mexico only, so many demos from back in the day, Bad Brains with H.R.'s grandma singing...no jk, but you know what I mean, I got a whole bunch of crazy out of print stuff, but it's just that upload thing i never figured out...if anyone can help to which is the best place to do it with, that has great instructions, I'd be more than happy to oblige..so long as it's out of print and not out there for sale. |

Thanks for the South Florida link, somewhere laying around I have a great band on that site called "Anger." Probably THE BEST Hardcore band from the Miami area that I've heard. I got hooked up with the demo when my cousin introduced me to Frank if I recall who was in the band and Frank passed along the demo. I highly reccomend this band. If you like very fast crossover mix with oldschool sound with vocals that are trying to shoe you hard in the nuts, this is it. And when I say crossover something in the vein of Crumbsuckers, Cause For Alarm era A.F., or Carnivore, nice and fast...not the sound of today's slow metal///hardcore chugaluggers...the best line on that demo lol: HIJO PUTA ME CAGO EN TU MADRE!!!! |

It says on the spine N.F.H.2. You might be thinking of the one with the red cover that I no longer have. I'm pretty sure that was NFH1 |
I guess I may even be thinking of NFH3.
I wonder who the hell was on the first one then. |
I COULD HAVE SWORN NEW FOUND HOPE ONE ,THE FIRST AMMENDMENT...WITH STATUE OF LIBERTY ON THE COVER WAS THE FIRST COMP.... _________________ WWW.FACEBOOK.COM/MR.KEITHFRANCO

re: the NFH comps...
the first one had One Second Thought (songs were 'abuse' and 'reason to die') and Born on it, they had that song 'new found hope!'
also had No Redeeming on it.
the cover was just some windows clip art of a generic cityscape printed on yellow paper.
i got the tape version of it.
i think the cd version was a similar image printed on a red cover.
second one was the First Amendment with the statue of liberty on the cover with Irate, Blackout, Closed Fist (irish brawl!!!), etc
not sure what the third one is, not sure i even seen it.
i remember NFH putting out a Southpaw cd though. _________________ www.rucktion.com

damn right man!
i love that band! Johny Anger told me about that band a few years ago.
I took me 2 years to find some sound and find an original copy. Resurrection AD records was def the SHIT!
I have all the New Found Hope comps : if someone need something, send me a PM.
I have a lot of serious things to share, cant list everything (Eye to eye : all the demos, Restitution NJ discography, Flat Broke demos, Politics of Contraband, Last Call demos, old comps on Endless fight records with Clubber Lang track, Orange County DIY comp with AOW, Inner Dam tracks, etc) : just ask, I would be happy to share it.
I just found a cool link :
http://www.blogs.atomicagemedia.com/doublea/?p=4
does anyone have these demos ? I would need them.
NEXT STEP UP demos :
Passive Aggression demo 92
Baltimore demo 92
Heavy demo (1993) _________________ http://www.myspace.com/thomas_ltc |
