BLINDSIGHT recentlty released a brand new PROFESSIONALLY recorded 3 song demo. 4$ through mail (includes a sticker and some other crap). Songs include: O.M.C, MY LIFE, FOUNDATION. The band is vocally similar to older Life of Agony and musically a combination of new school NYHC and talent.
BLINDSIGHT
"DIFFICULT BEGINNINGS. (Sept 96). The demo was recorded live at a
local bar in NY where the band practices weekly. The songs themselves are
actually songs from 1993 that were never really recorded and passed around.
So, the band decided to record the 4 older songs so that the newer kids would
be able to know every song. The 4 song titles are visible from the scan.
These demo's are selling for a low 2 bucks because it's a live recording.
The email and address for the band is below. Lyrics are included in ALL demos.

These were our 1st shirts (96). They came in red, tan (natural), and gray. The band name and logo were on the front as a crest logo. The symbol was put sideways to make things interesting. The rear of the shirt says This Life Cant Throw Me. We are all out of shirts cause someone stole all of what we had left.
Peace..................Blindsight
This is a scan of the HORIZON
demo. It features 4 songs including HORIZON, SELF CONTROL, OF AGE and OPTIMISM.
The band also has a new 4 song demo out called DIFFICULT BEGINNINGS (96)
which features re-recorded versions of older songs. Songs include STAY AWAY,
DECEIT, DAY BY DAY and NEGLECTED AGAIN. The name "BLINDSIGHT" is the bands
way of saying how people are blind to the truth. Society looks down on us
cause they're "blind" to who we really are. Society looks down on anyone
that doesn't fit their mold. Therefore, they do not "see" things as they
really are. Therein lies the meaning of the band name "BLINDSIGHT". The band
formed in late 1992 and had a permanent lineup in 1993 which was when the
1st 4 songs were written. The band played a few shows at the RAW and
RIGHT TRACK INN and nothing else during that time. Since then, both clubs
have closed their doors. In late 95, Damian Branica (bass) left the
band for a punk band called L.E.S. Stitches. After that, Vic filled
in as a temporary bassist and became a permanent member. Since then, the
lineup has remained the same. Jay Catropa on drums, Ciff Catropa on vocals,
Matt Capozielo on guitar and Vic on bass. With a mix of fulltime jobs and
college, the band is having trouble finding shows that fit their schedule.
To date, the band has 2 demos, both of which were recorded in 1996.
